Copure® CN Cyanopropyl

Copure^® CN (Cyanopropyl) is a weakly hydrophobic silica gel-based sorbent that can be used as either a normal phase or reverse phase sorbent. Under reverse phase conditions, it extracts non-polar or weakly polar acidic, neutral, and basic compounds from aqueous solutions. Under normal phase conditions, it extracts polar compounds from non-polar organic solutions. Additionally, cyanopropyl can act as a ligand to complex certain metal ions in aqueous solutions. For strongly hydrophobic substances that cause irreversible binding on C18 phases, the CN phase is a more suitable choice.
