Copure® C8 Octyl

Copure^® C8 utilizes a moderately hydrophobic reversed-phase silica gel matrix filler, retaining non-polar compounds through hydrophobic interactions. Compared to C18 fillers, the C8 filler has shorter carbon chains, resulting in weaker non-polar hydrophobic interactions. C8 can be used as an alternative to C18 when non-polar target compounds are difficult to elute.
