APPLICATION | Used for the lecithinase test of Burkholderia gladioli. | |
PREPARATION | 1. Weigh 50 g of the medium and add 1 L of distilled or deionized water. Stir and heat until boiling to ensure complete dissolution. | |
2. Dispense the solution into Erlenmeyer flasks and autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes. | ||
3. Cool the medium to approximately 50°C, then add 10-15 mL of 50% sterile egg yolk saline suspension per 100 mL of the medium. Mix thoroughly and pour into plates immediately. Allow the plates to solidify before use. | ||
