DESCRIPTION Egg Yolk Agar Base
APPLICATION Used for the lecithinase test of Burkholderia gladioli.
PREPARATION 1. Weigh 50 g of the medium and add 1 L of distilled or deionized water. Stir and heat until boiling to ensure complete dissolution.
2. Dispense the solution into Erlenmeyer flasks and autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes.
3. Cool the medium to approximately 50°C, then add 10-15 mL of 50% sterile egg yolk saline suspension per 100 mL of the medium. Mix thoroughly and pour into plates immediately. Allow the plates to solidify before use.

STORAGE Store in a dark and dry place at room temperature, and tighten the bottle cap immediately after use. 
SHELF LIFE Shelf life of sealed product is 3 years.
PRECAUTIONS 1. NOT for clinical use.
2. Do not use this product if it is lumpy.
3. After use, all contaminated materials must be sterilized or disposed by appropriate procedures.
