DESCRIPTION	Tryptose Sulfite Cycloserine Agar Base
APPLICATION	Used for isolation culture and enumeration of Clostridium perfringens in food and clinical samples.
PREPARATION	1. Weigh 42 g of the medium and add 1 L of distilled or deionized water. Stir and heat until boiling to ensure complete dissolution.
	2. Dispense 250 mL aliquots into flasks and sterilize at 121°C for 15 minutes.
	3. When the TSC medium cools down to around 50 °C, add 1 vial of the supplement to every 100 mL of the medium base. (For egg yolk agar plates: Add 10 mL of 50% egg yolk emulsion to 100 mL medium.) Mix immediately.Pour into sterile plates and store for use.

STORAGE	Store in a dark and dry place at room temperature, and tighten the bottle cap immediately after use.
SHELF LIFE	Shelf life of sealed product is 3 years.
PRECAUTIONS	1. NOT for clinical use.
	2. Do not use this product if it is lumpy.
	3. After use, all contaminated materials must be sterilized or disposed by appropriate procedures.
