DESCRIPTION 3% Sodium Chloride Triple Sugar Iron Agar
APPLICATION Used for biochemical identification of Vibrio parahaemolyticus.
PREPARATION 1. Weigh 89.5 g of the medium and dissolve in 1 L of distilled water. Heat while stirring until fully dissolved.
2.  Dispense into test tubes (fill generously) and sterilize at 121°C for 15 minutes. 
3. Cool and solidify as deep agar slants for storage.
